Sushi Ninja in Westgate Alabang

There's a new restaurant in Westgate, beside Beyond Yoga Alabang!

Seeing the photos of Sushi Ninja's dishes from friends made me want to visit this place some time. Well, it didn't took long. While waiting for my husband to pick me up after a yoga practice, I decided to check out the place then decided to just have dinner here. I loved the ambiance of this place, mixture of old and new - wooden crates, black boards, modern tables and chairs, and Japanese dining wares!

They have trained their waiters very well.  They can easily recommend and explain the dishes. Being first timer, I believed in everything the waiter recommended! Hahaha!

I wasn't that hungry so I just asked the waiter for maki recommendation.  I ended up with Tsukiji  - spicy tuna, negi, cucumber, nori powder and spicy mayo. Loved this dish, wished they could make the rice thinner so I could eat more of this!

The next one was a unique concept for me- Toshi Sushi or Fried Sushi Balls. It was a toss between seared Wagyu beef or torched Salmon.  I didn't want to just offset the calories I burned with my yoga practice so I settled for the lesser evil, Okinawa Toshi - torched Salmon, cream cheese, tobiko and truffle oil. My husband loved this dish!

They also gave us this free Tuna Toshi (?). Again, my husband loved this!

We felt that we can still order another dish so we asked the able-waiter to give us another recommendation.  We went for an appetizer, Stuffed Shitake - Shitake mushroom stuffed with spicy tuna, lightly battered and deep fried.

After having so many fried dishes, we ordered their house hot tea. Next visit, we might try their sushi, yakitori and don bori.

  1. What you're saying is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing, but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand. I'm sure you'll reach so many people with what you've got to say.
