Thanks InterCon Manila! It was fun!

When I read Rappler's post on Hotel InterContinental's Closing Down promo, I immediately booked a room for our family last December. According to some posts I read, Intercon opened on April 11, 1969. They have officially closed their doors last December 31, 2015, on its 46th year. We stayed in this hotel last December 28 to 29 during Christmas break. I took a picture of the building one last time. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a White-Gold Themed Christmas Tree.  Check-in was a breeze.  We were able to go to our room after few minutes.

I haven't eaten lunch so I went down to The Jeepney. I took a selfie while waiting for the elevator.

Upon entering The Jeepney, you will see the buffet table. I was too late for the lunch buffet so I opted for Ala Carte.

I ordered Steak ala Pobre and their signature dessert, Crepe Samurai! While waiting for the food, they served rolls and butter.

After my late lunch, I had my picture taken at the entrance for souvenir purposes.

The next day, we were supposed to have breakfast at The Jeepney. But due to influx of diners, they made a satellite buffet and dining area in one of their function rooms. And just like me, the kids' first stop was the bacon area!

After breakfast, the kids swam while I stayed in the room. I can see them from there. I made a paparazzi shot wherein Kuya Miguel was pulling Kuya Joaquin's feet in the swimming pool! I immediately called up Daddy to report what I saw and tell Miguel to stop. Huli ka!

Over-all, we had a pleasant stay. Room and food were great! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good bye, InterCon! Thanks! It was fun!
